Earlytrade Build has been named as the only construction-focused solution in the Australian Financial Review BOSS Most Innovative Companies technology category.

Earlytrade’s purpose-built construction software has secured the Australian B2B fintech a prestigious listing on the annual Australian Financial Review BOSS Most Innovative Companies list in 2021.

Earlytrade Build scales the power of Australia’s largest working capital marketplace, owned and operated by Earlytrade, to provide subcontractors in the construction sector fast and affordable liquidity through early payments.

Guy Saxelby, Earlytrade chief executive, said it made little sense that the many thousands of businesses in the economically critical construction sector should be underserved by traditional lenders and financiers.

“As the Australian economy opens up, efficient supply chain cash flow and built-for-purpose technology will be crucial factors for Head Contractors and large construction firms navigating the uncertainty of reopening,” he said.

“We’ve worked hand-in-glove with industry leaders to customise our platform for the construction sector to the point where the platform provides automated compliance with important industry legislation and we can turn a program on within days for some new customers.”

“Coming out of lockdowns and shutdowns, the construction sector is experiencing a new wave of purpose-built tech adoption. It’s exciting to have Earlytrade Build at the leading-edge of that cycle as we work with Australia and New Zealand’s construction leaders.”

Earlytrade Build enables large construction firms to empower their subcontractors with fast and affordable finance thereby decreasing risks, creating project efficiencies and working capital flexibility across their portfolios.

David Rankovich, Financial Controller at Enviropacific, an Earlytrade client, said confidence in the product, speed to launch and return on investment had exceeded his expectations.

“Even though Earlytrade said it would be easy, we didn’t think it would be that easy. Earlytrade is going to pay for our entire finance department.”

Dr Amantha Imber, founder of Inventium, the official methodology partner for the AFR BOSS Most Innovative Companies list, said it was inspiring to see the innovations 2021 winners, like Earlytrade, had created to improve the lives of their customers and users.
